Fees for Debt Settlement
Our fee is 25% of what we save you.
A typical example would be a $10,000 debt negotiated down to $3000.
Based on the $7000 difference (or saving), the fee would be $1750.
There is an initial retainer: $300 if the debts being negotiated are under $100,000 in total, and $500 if more than $100,000. The retainer is actually part of the final fee, and is therefore not an additional cost. What that means is that we undertake to do all of the work and only get paid upon successfully negotiating settlements.
How do your Fees compare?
- Many debt consolidation and credit counselling programs available today do not immediately decrease the amount of debt you owe. They simply combine your current balances into one new debt. Their fee for service is then added to this new debt which can take 5 years or more to pay off.
How will I repay my creditors?
- There are several sources of funds that may be available in order to pay your creditors the settlement amount, such as friends and family, lending institutions, the sale of assets, savings, redeeming RSPs, etc. K & G Debt & Credit Professionals can assist you with this prior to negotiating your settlement amount.
